Ohio Women Against Domestic Violence is a 501c3 Non profit organization formed in The City of Columbus October 2, 2022 to bring awareness to domestic violence year around and to provide supportive services to victims and survivors of Domestic Violence, Intimate Partner Violence, Sexual Assault or Stalking.

To Encourage Victims to Speak Up and Empower Survivors to Speak Out
We are pleased to launch Purple Ribbons and Butterflies Program. Providing workshops and support to families who have experienced Domestic Violence, Intimate Partner Violence, Sexual Assault or Stalking.
Our 2023 Funding Goals Were Met!
✔️Establish a local helpline that will provide resources, support and referrals to victims of domestic violence
✔️Launch Purple Ribbons and Butterflies Program for Teens and Parents in the 43205, 43203, 43209 Zip Codes
~2024 Organization Goals~
○Launch Purple Wings Housing Assistance Program for Women and Children who are homeless as a result of Domestic Violence (Chronically or Currently sheltered)
○Establish Transitional Housing Program for Women and Children needing Housing Assistance due to Domestic Violence
○Increase Housing Stability
○Implementation of Developer, Owner and Management VAWA Housing Training
